We purchase quality seed cocoons from established seed cocoon rearers after standardised quality assessment.
FC1 & FC2 Cocoons are stored separately in temperature & humidity-controlled rooms and are prepared for cutting.
Pupae are careful inspected by skilled labours and male & females are separated and stored in trays for emergence.
Post emergence, pairing & departing is done. Male moths are kept in cold room for reuse & Female moths are left on sheets for egg laying.
Eggs laid are washed, disinfected and kept for drying. They are later collected in cotton bags and sent for hibernation.
Eggs are neatly packed & blackboxed (if required) and delivered to Chawki rearers across the country.
The rooms and equipment are thoroughly disinfected with formalin, decol, and bleaching powder to ensure there is no contamination.
Each lot is meticulously checked and examined for Pebrine & other diseases with the help of advanced testing equipment.
